On Saturday, Sportiva Events’ popular 10k night trail race returned to Haldon Forest. The single lap course started at 6.30pm with the route marked with refelctive arrows that the runners follow by the light of their head torches. Haldon Forest’s trails are known for being hilly and the route included approx 300m of climb in total. There was of course plenty of mud after the recent weather. Shaun Fryett and Peter Roissetter lined up amid the almost 200 strong field with Shaun finishing in 3rd place overall in 45:19 and Peter Roissetter in 109th in 1:07:28. Well done both of you.
