Completed the Green Lantern green circle race in Exeter this evening. A mixture of trail and urban running 14.l miles if you do it right, 15.28 and an extra hill if you take a wrong turn like me. Tired out from long hours working this past fortnight very pleased to finish to much applause from diners in the Piazza in 2hours 30 minutes 52 seconds. A couple of falls has given me two and half sore black toes but on the plus side there was good steady rain to keep the competitors cool, and just the job for the 14acres of grass seeds that went in this morning. 🙂 ... Tsunami 16 and 73 more ORCs took on part in the Puretrail Tsunami yesterday. Angus and myself ran the 7 (aka ‘The Sprint’) from Morwenstow and Gill ran the very hilly 16 mile course which started in Hartland. Our 7 mile start was well timed with Gill running through Morwenstow checkpoint (complete coincidence), so we managed a quick team photo before she was on her way again. Well done everyone that races today, it’s lovely to be out racing with fellow ORCs again. ... See MoreSee Less
