Clarendon Marathon
On Sunday, Pearl Barnes completed the Clarendon Marathon in 5:32:22 (2nd PB for this distance), an off road, picturesque and challenging event.
From iconic Salisbury with the world famous Cathedral spire (tallest in the UK) to Winchester ancient capital of Wessex and home to the Round Table. Along the Clarendon Way.
Pearl said ‘After a very foggy start with a cloud inversion, the weather turned very hot! Incredibly hilly and gnarly trail with 1000s of runners across several distances, making it quite congested in places. I just love point to point runs, and this was well organised and well supported. My second marathon in 8 days…now for a bath!’
